The Egyptians and the Aztecs: Di erent but Similar?

These civilizations are di erent from each other, but when

you study the ancient Egyptian civilization and the Aztec

civilization, you will nd that they have many points of

            similarities:

            1. They had their civilization built on agriculture and

               farming crops.

            2. The two civilizations built pyramids. The Aztecs built them

to serve as temples, a place for human sacri ce, and to

bury their kings. The Egyptians also built pyramids to

serve as tombs for the kings and their queens.

            3. They had two di erent calendars, one of which was a

religious calendar and the other was for agriculture.

                                             and nowadays?

one of which was the Aztec ball game, which was a popular

sport then. Later on, other sports started and gained

popularity like Charreria that became the traditional
