                                                                              A consumer is someone who

                                                                              buys goods or uses services.

                                                                              A producer is someone who

                                                                              makes goods or provides

work hard to earn money to buy

Some people are good artists who make

beautiful things for consumers to wear or

display in their homes. Some people are

engineers who make machines work to

            help farmers grow more food.

Other people are skilled farmers who grow

food to feed other community members.

People in the community work together, for

            each other; they are interdependent.
