             What Is a Community Market?

            • Some community markets gather every day

or once a week. This is where producers bring

their fruits, vegetables, sh, meats, owers,

and much more for consumers to buy. Many

              community markets are outdoors. Consumers

buy goods directly from the producer.

Producers are proud of what they make Example of a community

              and sell.

            • In many communities, there are both local

markets and big modern ones. Local markets

consist of small stores, where producers o er

their local goods and services. They target

consumers who are located in the same area or

neighborhood, where goods and services are

produced or made available. Small shops and Example of a local market

grocery stores are examples of local markets.

            • On the other hand, big modern markets are

large stores, malls, and supermarkets that o er

almost everything a consumer would want, all

in one place, like food, clothing, computers,

sports items, and school supplies, in addition

to global products. These big markets target

consumers in the area or city where the Example of a big modern
