Those Who Lived in North America in the Past

Before discovering North

American land, many tribes

existed and lived there, later

called Red Indians or Native

Americans. They had their own

habits, clothes, languages, and

way of life. Now, it is estimated

that the USA holds about 573

tribes in it.

Canada: Who Controlled It in the Past, the French or the British?

Canada was controlled by several

empires before it became

independent. It was rst controlled by

France starting 1534. It remained

under the French control until 1763.

Then it became under the control of

the British Empire until its

independence on the 1 of July 1867.
