                           Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about

the factors of production. Your child learned ways that he or she can
identify factors of production and renewable/nonrenewable resources.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson

                           and our related learning activities.
                                 • Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
                                   learned from it.

                                 • Watch a video about the factors of production.
                                 • Discuss with your child the great impact of technology on the

manufacturing process and how it makes a difference in how
                                   things are made.
                                 • Try to imagine starting a business with your child. Ask your child

what resources might be needed to start the business.
                                 • Try to discover someone who is an entrepreneur in your city
or someone famous for starting a new business with a

                                   new idea.

Thank you for being a partner with us

in the education of your child!

Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
