An Entrepreneur of the Past versus an Entrepreneur of the Present
Karl Benz
The rst car in the world was invented by Karl
Benz, who got his idea from the horse and
buggy. He wanted to make a better newer
version of transportation.
Karl Benz’s rst car was the three-wheeled Benz
Motor Car no. 1, similar to the horse and buggy
but without the horse.
Karl’s car was the rst gasoline-powered practical
car, and it left a huge mark on the automobile
industry. His company Mercedes Benz still exists Benz Patent Motor Car in Dresden

Elon Musk
Elon Musk is one of the greatest entrepreneurs of
our time. He tried to solve transportation-related
problems such as how fast you reach your
destination and how to cut down gasoline costs,
not to mention its negative e ect on the
environment, by inventing Tesla cars. These cars
provide their customers a clean and cheap
alternative to gas, which is electricity, and they
also have an attractive design.
