            How Do We Use Relative Location?



             When we use relative location, we look at where places are near to. We might use words

             like above, below, next to, north of, or west of. In your community, you might say that

             a school is near a mall, or west of a famous mosque, or across the street from a popular

             restaurant. We can use relative location to help us locate Egypt.

             Egypt is below the continent of Europe and is located in Northern Africa at the top of

             the African continent.  Egypt is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea in the north, the

             Gaza Strip, the Red Sea, and Saudi Arabia in the east, Libya in the west, and Sudan

             in the south.
