Countries’ Locations
England
To locate England using its
absolute location, we have to
gure out its coordinates, which
are calculated using the lines of
longitude and the lines of latitude
as we previously did for Egypt.
England’s grid coordinates are
52.3555° N latitude and 1.1743° W
longitude.
That is, England is located in the
northwestern part of Europe and is
bordered by Wales to the west and
Scotland to the north.
United States
As for the United States, its
coordinates are 37.0902° N latitude
and 95.7129° W longitude.
Therefore, the United States is in
the Northern Hemisphere,
bordered by Mexico to the south
and Canada to the north.
