Dear Parents,
As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about
ancient Greek civilization. Your child learned ways that he or she can
identify the importance of ancient Greek civilization and its impact on
other civilizations.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.
Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.
• Watch online videos about ancient Greek civilization and how it
was one of the most important civilizations in world history.
• Discuss with your child the difference between ancient Egyptian
civilization and ancient Greek civilization.
• Read together an article about democracy and how it started in
Greece.
• Discover one more thing that we use today thanks to
the people of ancient Greece.
