Let’s Learn
Europe
Europe is part of a supercontinent, or a large landmass, called
Eurasia that over time split into the smaller continents of Europe
and Asia.
Europe is a destination for many tourists, who come to see its
beautiful mountains, rivers, and valleys. Europe is also a place of
great cities and interesting history.
Europe lies in the Northern Hemisphere. It is the second smallest
continent in the world after Australia. Asia, the largest continent,
and Europe occupy the same landmass. Russia, the largest country
in the world, spans both continents, with the Ural Mountains
acting as a boundary between them.
