            Eurasia

Since there is no physical separation between Europe and Asia, both of them were considered a single

continent and were treated this way. Europe and Asia physically are one continent, but when the

Ancient Greeks dominated parts of it, they divided the world to what we know today as Africa,

            Europe, and Asia.

Eurasia is located in the Northern and Eastern Hemispheres and is bordered by the Atlantic, the

Paci c, and the Arctic Oceans and Africa from its four sides. Today, Europe’s borders with Asia end by

the Ural River, the Caucasus Mountains, the Caspian Sea, and the Black Sea.

Even though Europe and Asia are now separated and treated as two continents, some of their

countries are transcontinental and have parts in both continents.
