Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about

Greece. Your child learned ways that he or she can identify major
landforms and the geography of Greece.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the content of this lesson

and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.

• Use the internet to review with your child the location of Greece
in southern Europe.

• Watch a video about ancient Greece and how it is considered to
be one of the most important cultures that affects our modern
culture today.

• Show your child different photographs of Greece and the most
important archeological sites.
