Ancient Greeks held religion in very high regard. They would refer to or ask the gods about all their
decisions even in wars. Theatre and art had religious themes as well; plays, sculptures, and paintings
were mostly dedicated to the gods.
Ancient Greece is also known for its advancement in science. Greek
thinkers were responsible for a lot of theories in biology, mathematics,
astronomy, and geography.
They also developed treatments for many diseases. Most of them were
known to be created by Hippocrates, which made people call him “the
Father of Medicine.”
