         Let’s Learn

         Indentation.
In the written form of many languages,
an indentation or indent is an empty
space at the beginning of a line to
signal the start of a new paragraph.
         Many computer languages use this
method as a way of defining a new Spacing.
paragraph. Line spacing refers to the amount of vertical
space between lines of text in a paragraph. Lines
are usually single-spaced. You can increase this
space, making the distance between lines longer.
Paragraph spacing is about the amount of
vertical space between the paragraphs of a
document. You can increase this space, making
                                                               the distance between paragraphs longer.

         Let’s Practise

         Indentation.

1 Open the file called ‘The Red Hen.docx’

in your ‘Documents’ folder, and select
                   the whole paragraph.

2 In the ‘Paragraph’ menu of the ‘Home’

tab, click on the arrow on the bottom
right. A new window will appear.

3 In the ‘Indents and Spacing’ tab, under

‘Indentation’, change the field of ‘Special’
