         Let’s Learn

Word processors let us change the whole style of our text: font colour, font size, font style,
indentation, spacing, and so many more.
What happens when we want to use all these features, over and over again, for different texts?
There is a tool which can do this for us, called ‘Format Painter’. This tool lets us copy all of the
formatting from one text and apply it to another.

         Let’s Practise

                        1
                           Open the file ‘Format Painter.docx’.

              2
The first paragraph has different format
settings than the rest of the text. Select it.

                                                                                                3
Now, in the ‘Home’ tab, click on the
                                                        ‘Format Painter’ button. Your cursor
has now changed to a brush.

                                                                                         4
Click and drag until you have
                                                         selected the next paragraph.
