          Project!

          My Trip
Do you remember a trip you enjoyed a lot? Write about it in Microsoft Word. Remember to use
what you’ve learned in this unit. Briefly write about the place you visited. Now, add a table. In this
table, write down the things you did while you were there. Below the table, add a list of the things
or places you loved the most. Use ‘Format Painter’ so that you don’t have to apply the same
formatting style again. Add symbols to your text like the currency of the place you visited! Save
the file as ‘My Trip.docx’ and exit.

Reach for the Stars! Wow! You’re getting really good
                                                             at using a word processor!
The QWERTY Keyboard was created by What are you typing?
Christopher Sholes in 1868 and is now the
most common type of keyboard used. The I’m doing a project
first machines to use this keyboard layout about my trip to Earth!
          were typewriters.
The purpose of using such a layout was to
prevent experienced users from typing too
fast, which would jam the typewriter.
A fun fact about this keyboard layout
is that the longest word you can type
with the first line of letters is the word
          ‘TYPEWRITER’! Typewriters didn’t run
on electricity and used ink and paper to
          produce a document.
