He discovered many places that were not
known at the time. He traveled to places
in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Christopher Columbus was an Italian
traveler. Like Ibn Battuta, he loved to
travel. He had a very long trip from Italy
until he reached the Americas. He traveled
to the Americas by ships across the ocean.
Have you ever visited a country in a di erent
continent?
Conclusion
The world has seven continents. Each continent is di erent. We
can go around the world to visit other continents easily now
with airplanes. A trip that now takes only a few hours used to
take many months before.
