Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child is learning about Egypt.
In class, we learned about the location of Egypt and about Egyptian
culture.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.

• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the
lesson.

• With your child, look at a map of Egypt. Follow the Nile River
where it flows from Upper to Lower Egypt.
• Use the internet to download five photos of Egypt’s most famous

monuments and make a photo album of Egypt. Help your child
label each picture.
