Maps help us to know about
the Earth and nd any place we
need. In the past, maps were
drawn on clay, bark, or animal
skin. Now, they are available in
printed form, or as globes, or
even on cell phones.
Maps have many features
like the compass rose, the legend,
the scale, and the grid of the lines
of longitude and latitude, the
Equator, and the Prime Meridian.
Physical maps show how nature
shapes the world, while political
ones show borders between
countries.
