Life in the past

Things change from the past to the present.

We grow up over time. The way we live

changes as time goes by. Many of the

things around us today were not found in

our ancestors’ time. Technology has

changed many things.

 In the past, people did not have

electric or gas

stoves to cook their food.

They used rewood to

heat their food.

 There were no tall

buildings.

 Markets and stores were

very di erent long ago.

 Children played in gardens

or enjoyed games and

toys with no

electricity

or internet.
