Martha was waiting for her turn in a gasoline station to put
fuel in her car. People around the world use fuel
for cars. Fuel is very expensive. Martha is very
angry that people around the world are
using so much fuel for their cars and
trucks and asked, “What will happen if we
run out of fuel?”

It is the year 4000 and it is very cold.
Joseph is sitting next to his mom, trying
to keep warm. Joseph’s mom takes him
under her arm. She wishes they could
have electricity again. Their home only gets
one hour of electricity every day.
Why do you think this happened?
Conclusion
There are renewable resources that we will always have like the sun and
the wind. There are also non-renewable resources, such as oil and gas,
which cannot be easily replaced if we use them up. We must protect
our resources because if we use them all, we won’t be able to live.
