Suburban Community


            A suburban community is a

            medium-sized community, usually

            located near a large city. Houses are

            close together. You may  nd malls for

            shopping.

            There are fewer people in a suburban

            community. Many people need to drive


            or take a bus or train to their work, to

            shops, or to school. Buildings are not as

            tall. There are more parks and natural

            areas for people to enjoy.








            Rural Community





                                                                    In a rural community, houses are far apart.

                                                                    In rural communities, people do not live

                                                                    close together. Buildings are spread out

                                                                    over large distances. A rural community

                                                                    has lots of open space and natural areas

                                                                    for farms and forests. You may see animals

                                                                    like cows, horses, sheep, and goats in


                                                                     elds.
