Urban Community: New York City
• Buildings in New York are tall and next
to each other. Most people live in
apartments.
• There are many means of
transportation. You can go to work by
using the famous New York subway,
taking a bus or cab, walking, or driving
your own car.
• New York is called “the city that never
sleeps” because it is always alive and
busy during the day and also during
New York City subway, Penn Station
the nighttime.
Rural Community: Nagrig Village
• This is the village where Mohamed Salah, Egypt’s
famous football player, was born and raised.
• It mainly depends on agriculture as a main source of
income. It is famous for planting jasmine, rice, and
wheat.
• Buildings in Nagrig are short, and the roads are narrow.
• Nagrig has a small population of less than 15 thousand
people.
