Home Connection
Dear Parents,
Your child is involved in learning activities to develop knowledge about
life in ancient Egypt. They may be asked to complete several tasks at
home. Your support, interest, and cooperation with these activities will
support our overall program.
Our current lesson is about the Egyptians’ early community. We urge
you to talk to your child about the lesson.
Here are some activities you can use to enhance and enrich your child’s
knowledge.
• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the
lesson.
• Discuss with your child the importance of the pharaohs and the
monuments they built (pyramids – Sphinx – temples).
• Watch movies with your child about the major periods which
ancient Egypt passed through (Old Kingdom – Middle Kingdom –
New Kingdom).
• Take your child on a trip, if possible, to show them monuments
built by the ancient Egyptians.
Thank you for being our partner in education!
Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
