            Growing Crops: Then versus Now

            The ancient Egyptian civilization was

            based on growing crops near the Nile

            River. It was famous for planting many

            crops like wheat, barley, vegetables, and


            more. After thousands of years, Egypt still

            maintains agriculture as one of the main

            resources. This is because Egypt has

            nutrient-rich soil to plant seeds in.

            Nowadays, Egypt is famous worldwide for

            crops such as cotton that is used to make

            the highest quality of clothes and bedding

            all around the world.

            Hieroglyphs: How to Read Them?



                                                       Hieroglyphs were the system ancient Egyptians used

                                                       to write and document their life for the world to


                                                       understand their history. It was very di cult to

                                                       understand that system because it was made of 750

                                                       signs. But, on July 15, 1799, the Rosetta Stone was

                                                       discovered. It had inscriptions that helped us

                                                       successfully  nd a way to translate the hieroglyphic

                                                       language. And now after thousands of years, we can

                                                       easily understand and read the language thanks to

                                                       the discovery of the Rosetta Stone.
