Home Connection
Dear Parents,
Your child is involved in learning activities to develop knowledge about
the continent of Africa. They may be asked to complete several tasks at
home. Your support, interest, and cooperation with these activities will
support our overall program.
Our current lesson is about the continent of Africa. We urge you to talk
to your child about the lesson.
Here are some activities you can use to enhance and enrich your child’s
knowledge.
• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the
lesson.
• Review the map of Africa with your child and help them learn the
name and location of the physical features taught in the lesson.
• Watch with your child a movie about Africa and introduce them
to the different cultures of Africa.
• Talk about different foods or activities that people may enjoy in
different parts of the African continent.
Thank you for being our partner in education!
Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
