About Ancient Greece
Ancient Greece was one of the oldest and greatest
civilizations in history. What happened in ancient Greece
continues to make a di erence in our world today. This
civilization started thousands of years ago and began to
change and control much of the Mediterranean region.
Ancient Greece was known for its advances in military
techniques and strategies. It also witnessed advances in
art, philosophy, and poetry.
