                           Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about

France. Your child learned ways that he or she can identify major
landforms and the geography of the country.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson

                           and our related learning activities.
                                 • Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
                                   learned from it.

                                 • Use the internet to review with your child the location and the
map of France. Find three major cities.

                                 • Look for one French artist. Search for Cézanne, Monet, Renoir,
Morisot, or Degas. Talk about any painting or sculpture by the
                                   artist.

                                 • Show your child different photographs of cities and villages of
France. Talk about what daily life in France looks like.

Thank you for being a partner with us
in the education of your child!

Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
