What Are Some of the Most Famous Monuments of Paris?

Paris is the capital of France and one of the world’s most

beautiful cities. Tourists from all over the world

visit Paris to see the many historical buildings

and monuments there.

Ei el Tower

The Ei el Tower was built in 1889 to honor the

centenary, or the hundredth anniversary, of the

French Revolution and was named for its

designer, Gustave Ei el. It is the most famous
Champs-Elysees, Paris
metallic tower in the world. An elevator allows

people to go to very high oors of the tower to look at the beautiful buildings and streets below. Every

hour of every evening, the Ei el Tower lls the dark sky with a spectacular light show that thrills citizens

and visitors.
