Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.
• Use the internet to review with your child a map of South
America and the importance of its location.
• Watch a video about the rainforests of South America and some
of the people who live there. Try to discover three unusual
animals that live in the rainforest.
• Show your child different photographs of South America to
determine if the photos match his or her ideas about
South America. Try to guess what part of South
America the photos represent.
