Computer games have a long history and are completely different than the ones we play
today. Many people believe that the first computer game ever created was the 1972
classic game called ‘Pong’ created by Allan Alcorn and manufactured by Atari. However,
the first attempt at creating a computer game was made way back in 1948!

actually created by Alan Turing and David
Champernowne in 1948, a computer chess
programme named ‘Turochamp’ after its
creators, but it was too complicated to run on
the computers of that time.
