Dear Parents,

As part of our social studies program, your child is learning about the
North African countries. In class, we learned about many countries and
how they are the same or different.

Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.

• Ask your child to tell you two things that they learned from the
lesson.

• Look at a map of Africa with your child and work together to
locate the North African countries.
• Use the internet to download three photos for each country that

your child learned about in class. Together, make your own photo
album and label each country.
