Dear Parents,
As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about
the Industrial Revolution. Your child learned ways that he or she can
identify what the Industrial Revolution was and how it changed the way
people worked.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.
Here are some things you can do to reinforce the message of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.
• Watch a video about the Industrial Revolution and its start in
Great Britain and America.
• Discuss with your child the great impact of the Industrial
Revolution today.
• Look closely at three pieces of clothing. Where were the pieces
made? What might a factory look like where the clothing was
made? Try to find pictures of modern clothing factories.
Thank you for being a partner with us
in the education of your child!
Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
