Cities in China

Beijing

Beijing is the capital of China. It is located in

northern China and is one of the most

populated cities in the world.

Beijing is the center of China’s culture,

politics, business, and education. The city has

most of the headquarters of the biggest

state-owned companies and nancial

institutions in China.

Beijing is also known to be one of the oldest View of the city of Beijing

cities in the world, holding a history dating

back three millennia.

Shanghai

Shanghai is located on the Yangtze River, on

the eastern shores of China, near to the

Paci c Ocean.

Shanghai’s population is around 24 million,

and it is considered the center of innovation

and transportation in China. It also has the

biggest container port in the world.
