• Other than the unity of all the Chinese, countries like the United States, Russia, and the UK supported

              China until Japan surrendered.

            • After the Japan-China war, China was  nancially drowning and most of its resources were used up.

              However, the  ght between the Kuomintang and the People's Liberation Army returned until 1949.

            • After the Civil War ended, China was proclaimed as a People’s Republic by the Communist Party

              Chairman, Mao Zedong, in the Political Consultative Conference.

            • The establishment of the People’s Republic of China gave the Chinese people a huge boost, and this day


              is celebrated as the country’s national day.

            • Under Mao Zedong’s rule, the Chinese were starving and had very limited freedom, which caused the

              arrest of Mao’s party after his death, and a new social and economic reform took place.

            • Deng Xiaoping took control over the republic and turned its economy into a mixed economy. He

              contributed to issuing the Chinese constitution in December 1982.
