Mountains
Asia contains many mountain ranges:
the Himalayas, which have over one
hundred mountains, some of which
are the highest world peaks, such as
Mount Everest; Altay (Altai)
Mountain; and the Ghats Mountain.
These mountains, and especially
Mount Everest, are known to be very
challenging to climb and reach the
peak, or very top of the mountain,
where climbers need special
equipment to breathe as oxygen
levels in the air decrease a lot. The Everest Region of the Himalayas, Nepal
