Dear Parents,
As part of our social studies program, your child has been learning about
the United Kingdom. Your child learned about the major role played by
Great Britain in world history.
You can help your child by supporting our classroom learning.
Here are some things you can do to reinforce the content of this lesson
and our related learning activities.
• Ask your child to tell you about the lesson and what he or she
learned from it.
• Use the internet to review with your child a map of the United
Kingdom and its location on the world map.
• Watch a video about the importance of Great Britain in world
history.
• Watch with your child a brief video about Queen Elizabeth I and
the Elizabethan Age.
• Search for photos of the current royal family of England.
Thank you for being a partner with us
in the education of your child!
Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
