• The UAE is mostly covered with desert

             where the Rub’ Al Khali Desert stretches into

             its land. The coastal areas along the Arabian

             Gulf are  at, while Al-Hajar Mountains are

             very visible in the upper east and shared

             with Oman. Jabal Yibir is located there and

             considered the highest point in the UAE,


             with its height of 1,727 m.

            Climate

            • The climate of the UAE is subtropical: dry,

             with hot summers and warm winters. The

             hottest months are July and August, while

             the temperature is lower in the area of

             Al-Hajar Mountains because of its elevation.


            Culture and Major Income Resources

            • The UAE is also known for its pearl divers,

             who dive to the ocean  oor to search for

             oysters, which sometimes contain precious

             pearls.

            • The UAE has a very good diplomatic

             relationship with Egypt and is considered to

             be one of the major Arab investors in the

             Egyptian economy.


            • Oil is one of the major sources of the

             federation’s income since Abu Dhabi has

             around one-tenth of the world’s oil reserves.        Ferris wheel in Al Qasba, Sharjah

             Natural gas is also a major source of income

             for the area.
