Emirates of the UAE

Ajman Ajman

Ajman is the smallest of the seven emirates

of the UAE, located on the western coast of

the country. It has borders with Sharjah and

is only 10 km away from Dubai in the south

and Umm Al-Quwain in the north.

Ajman’s main cities are Ajman, the capital,

Al Manamah, and Masfout. Due to its

location along the Arabian Gulf and its

coasts, Ajman’s economy relies mainly on

shing and trading.

Ras Al-Khaimah

Al-Khaimah shares the borders with

Musandam, a governorate of Oman. Ras

Al-Khaimah has a population of almost

345,000. It consists of several small villages

and some residential developments that

have been built recently.

Ras Al-Khaimah’s land is also the most

fertile land that is used for agriculture in the

whole UAE due to its rainy climate and

underground water streams.
