How Is the Climate in Egypt?
Climate is the average weather, or conditions of heat and rainfall, a ecting a place over a
long period of time. Egypt has hot summers and cool winters.
Most of Egypt is dry because a large area of the country is covered by the Sahara, but areas
on the Mediterranean coast are wetter.
A coast is an area where the sea meets the land. People enjoy going to the coast for a
cooler climate or to enjoy water activities.
