Let’s Think
Egypt without Landforms and Water Bodies
The Nile River, the deserts, and the
lakes are some forms that helped to
shape the culture and landscape of
Egypt; without them many things
would have been di erent and the
way of life would have been
a ected. Imagine life in Egypt if
they did not exist.

Egypt’s Desert Forms and Development
Egypt’s desert forms most of its land,
yet, most Egyptians live around the
Nile River or near the shores of the
seas. This leaves Egypt with much
uninhabited desert areas that can be
used in various ways. How do you
think the desert can be used to
develop Egypt further?
