Home Connection
Dear Parents,
Your child is involved in learning activities designed to develop
knowledge about communities and types of governments. They may be
asked to complete several tasks at home. Your support, interest, and
cooperation with these activities will support our overall program.
The current lesson is about changing communities. We urge you to talk
with your child about the lesson.
Here are some activities you can use to enhance your child’s knowledge.
• Ask your child to tell you two things they learned from the lesson.
• Talk with your child about the importance of the government in
the community.
• As you move through the community, ask your child, or point out
to them, what has changed in the community over the past few
months. Consider a new building, a new road, or a new festival or
activity.
Thank you for being our partner in education!
Research has shown that children with involved parents score
better than others whose parents don't have a role in their
education process. Help your child stay brilliant!
