Let’s Learn
The Islamic Empire
Over centuries, after the death of Prophet, or messenger who
conveys the message of Allah, Muhammad (PBUH), Islamic armies
expanded almost everywhere in the world, controlling lands from
the Middle East, to Northern Africa, Spain, and some areas in Asia,
to create one of the largest empires in world history.
The caliphates of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) allowed scholars and
merchants to travel easily through Eurasia, exchanging knowledge
and information with Muslims. Even after the decline of the
Abbasid Empire, many Islamic Empires came to light, such as the
Safavid, Seljuk, Ottoman, and Mughal Empires.
