• This time of growth, also called “the Islamic Golden

              Age,” stretched from approximately 790 C.E. to 1258

              C.E. (eighth to thirteenth century), during which the

              Islamic Empire was ruled by di erent caliphates. This

              era witnessed great developments in science, arts,

              technology, and education.

            • This Golden Age began during the reign of the Abbasid
